Yep, it's on again for 2012 - the 8th Annual North Routt Coureur des Bois, now known as "Glide the Divide," returns to historic Hahn's Peak on March 17, 2012. Come join us for this unique and challenging ski marathon which has been listed as one of the top 100 toughest sporting events in the world - perhaps the toughest single day ski race anywhere!

Taking place in the shadow of Hahn's Peak, the race features something for everyone:

• A 90k course for the elite skier,
• A 45k course for athletes looking for something shorter but still want a challenge, and
• New this year -- A 15k course around beautiful Steamboat Lake for the more casual skier.

And, for those of you who don't ski, there will be music and non-ski-related events to enjoy while cheering on the skiers!

We hope to make this year's event the best and most fun yet -- bringing a western flavor and hospitality that exemplifies our community. From the slightly eccentric locals working the aid stations to the homegrown live music at the awards ceremony, Glide the Divide will be a unique way for the entire family to experience the natural beauty and ski culture of northwest Colorado!
